Eisenstadt, Austria – Once again, the Burgenland artist Stony, a member of the Pannonians, is among the winners of a Beeple Open Call. This time, it’s for the spectacular PepeFest, one of the craziest events held at the legendary studios in Charleston.
PepeFest, an ode to the controversial yet beloved frog Pepe, brings together artists and fans for an extraordinary event. Together with Beeple and other artists, participants reclaim meme culture for the art world. The program includes inspiring lectures, interactive installations, competitions, and stunning live performances.
For Stony, it’s the third time his works are showcased at Beeple Studios, further strengthening the artistic connection between Eisenstadt and Charleston. “Three days with the maestro and his crew – it’s an incredible honor,” Stony rejoices. He is especially excited to see many familiar faces and, as a former Memelord on 9GAG, to showcase his meme art on the legendary walls of the studios, alongside some of his other works.
This event promises not only impressive art but also community, creativity, and unforgettable experiences. With competitions offering great prizes, PepeFest is set to be a highlight of the year for the meme art scene.
