Stony as a Guest at “145 Block and Wine”: A Night of Art, Technology, and Vision

Last weekend, Stony had the honor of attending 145 Block and Wine, one of the best events hosted by Validvent to date. The evening showcased a perfect blend of art, blockchain technology, and networking, proving once again how versatile and forward-thinking the world of digital assets can be.
Highlights of the Event

Among the distinguished speakers were representatives from BYBIT, one of the leading platforms for cryptocurrency and derivatives trading, and the Digital Asset Association Austria (DAAA), which works to promote and develop the blockchain and digital asset ecosystem in Austria.

BYBIT provided fascinating insights into the cryptocurrency market and their platform’s offerings. Beyond traditional crypto trading, Bybit features innovative tools like NFT marketplaces, DeFi solutions, and staking options. Their mission is to lower the barriers to entry for crypto enthusiasts, providing a user-friendly platform for both beginners and professionals.

The DAAA, an Austrian organization, is dedicated to advancing blockchain technologies and digital assets. Acting as a bridge between businesses, government, and society, the DAAA helps shape the legal, economic, and technological frameworks for digital assets. They also provide educational initiatives, networking opportunities, and policy recommendations to drive blockchain adoption in Austria.

Art Meets Blockchain

A standout moment of the evening was the presentation by burst_@burst_cryptoart, a renowned digital artist who mints his work on the Bitcoin blockchain using Ordinals. Ordinals represent an innovative approach to creating and managing digital assets like NFTs directly on the Bitcoin blockchain. Unlike traditional NFTs, which are often hosted on Ethereum or Solana, Ordinals ensure a direct and immutable link to the Bitcoin network – the most secure blockchain globally.

burst_@burst_cryptoart captivated the audience with his latest collection, showcasing a compelling fusion of artistic creativity and technological innovation.
Stony’s Contribution: Bridging Art and History

During the event, Stony handed over five pieces from the “Bellum Gallicum Cyberwar” collection to “Gaius Iulius Caesar🌱@XCH_Caesar”. This symbolic gesture bridged ancient history with modern cyberculture. The collection explores the historical context of the Gallic War while drawing parallels to the digital age’s conflicts – a timeless reflection on power, communication, and the fight for resources.

“It was a fantastic evening that highlighted how art, technology, and community can come together to create something truly unique,” Stony remarked.
A Night to Remember

The event was filled with familiar faces and good friends, making it a joyful reunion for many. Among the attendees were Nissla and Tschuuuly from the Cryptowiener community, whose presence added to the vibrant atmosphere. The night didn’t end with the official program; the core group of participants kept the energy alive, celebrating and discussing until the early hours of the morning.

An unforgettable night that proved: the future of art and technology is boundless.
