Vienna, May 22, 2025 – On the occasion of this year’s Bitcoin Pizza Day, we were pleased to take part in the celebrations at the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts, following an invitation by curator Tschuuuly.
Bitcoin Pizza Day marks the anniversary of a well-known transaction in 2010, when 10,000 BTC were exchanged for two pizzas. Since then, it has become a symbolic date within the blockchain community – reflecting on how far decentralized technologies have come.
The event offered a diverse program at the intersection of technology, digital culture, and community engagement. Under Tschuuuly’s curation, it brought together various positions from Austrias emerging Web3 and new media scene.
And … of course … there was pizza 😀
