The “Dailys” project is a blend of web scraping, text analysis, and generative AI art. Daily, news content is automatically collected from orf.at. Following this, a specialized AI uses these data to create a summary of the most significant events. Based on this summary, the AI analyzes the prevailing mood of the news to construct a “mood image of the day.” From this mood image, the AI then creates a visual artwork that captures the essential atmosphere of the day, presented in the style of a famous artist. Thus, “Dailys” bridges the gap between current news and artistic interpretation by reinterpreting and visualizing world events through the lens of Artificial Intelligence.
